Wow!
So I finally decided to take the plunge. I setup a Wordpress blog. I was kinda curious to see what a “real” CMS could do, and I got tired of all the short comings of writting my own CMS (which everyone tries at some point, until they realize they want to blog and not write more code). Definitely a learning experience. It will take me some time to integrate it with the rest of my site and whatever code that remains from my first attempt at a blog.
Hopefully this will free up some time for me to pursue some other areas of interests and allow me to blog more easily. It sure is nice not having to write the entire post as xhtml.
In other non-computer news. Justin came and went. It was awesome having him around, and makes me miss all the days when I used to just go out after work and hang out with friends endlessly with no worries in sight. It was nice and complacent. I am probably learning more now, but it just isn’t as fun….or should I say easy.
